Illinois Wesleyan University sophomore Keira Robinson has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Player of the Week. The announcement was made by the league office on Tuesday, September 30. This is Robinson’s first time receiving the weekly honor.
Robinson scored four goals over three games for the Illinois Wesleyan Titans women's soccer team during the week. In a match against Knox College on Wednesday, September 24, she contributed two goals in the first period. Robinson's first goal came from 15 yards out in the third minute, giving Illinois Wesleyan an early lead. She added another in the 23rd minute after receiving an assist from sophomore Ellen Dahlquist, helping secure a 2-1 advantage as the Titans went on to win 4-1.
On Saturday, September 27, against the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Robinson scored twice in the second half. With Illinois Wesleyan trailing 3-1 at halftime, she converted a penalty kick in the 69th minute and later tied the game at 3-3 with a goal in the 78th minute assisted by Dahlquist. The match ended in a draw.
According to Illinois Wesleyan records, this marks the first instance since 2022 that a Titan player has achieved multiple goals in consecutive games; then-assistant coach Caelyn Bieterman (formerly Steffens) was last to do so. Following her recent performance, Robinson now has five goals this season, tying her for second-most goals scored within CCIW play.
The Titans are scheduled to have a break before traveling to Kenosha, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 4 for their conference opener against Carthage College at 4 p.m.
"I am honored to receive this recognition," Robinson said following her award announcement.
