Santa’s Station returns to Uptown Normal with events benefiting local charities

Santa’s Station will return to Uptown Normal on Friday, December 6, with visiting hours scheduled on select dates through Christmas Eve. The event is organized by the Town of Normal and will be open at various times throughout December. Full details and the schedule are available at uptownnormal.com/santa.

According to organizers, Santa will be available for visits from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Monday, December 23. On Saturdays and Sundays, the station will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. On Tuesday, December 24, hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m., allowing Santa time to prepare for his holiday duties.

Admission to Santa’s Station is free for all visitors. Donations are welcomed and will support a range of charitable organizations. Host groups and beneficiary organizations vary by date. Attendees are encouraged to take their own photos during visits.

The event includes participation from local organizations such as Latinos en BloNo, All Our Kids Early Childhood Network, Cumulus Radio Bloomington, Bloomington-Normal NAACP, Colene Hoose Parent Teach Organization, Normal Police Department with Cocoa with a Cop, North Point Parent Teacher Organization, Daybreak Rotary, Bloomington-Normal Jaycees, as well as the Town of Normal Department of Cultural Arts & Children’s Discovery Museum Foundation.
