Greenbriar Drive in Normal will be closed for street resurfacing on Friday, November 14, starting at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting. The closure will affect the section between Parkway Plaza Drive and Fort Jesse Road, as well as the area between Fort Jesse Road and Truman Drive.

Drivers are advised to use caution when traveling near the construction zone. Local access will be maintained, but some daytime interruptions are expected. The roadwork is scheduled to be completed by 7:00 p.m. the same day.

The Town of Normal recommends that drivers use Susan Drive or Veterans Parkway, accessible via Parkway Plaza Drive and Fort Jesse Road, as detour routes during the closure period.

A map showing current road impacts can be found online at https://arcg.is/091PPC2.

For questions about the project, residents can contact Eric Herbst at 309-454-9744.

All Town of Normal facilities are fully accessible. "If you require assistance or accommodation to access programs, services or events provided by the Town of Normal, please email ADA Coordinator Mark Clinch or call 309-454-9580. The Town of Normal wants all residents to be able to participate equally in Town efforts and initiatives. We welcome your feedback."
