A senior from Illinois Wesleyan University has received her fourth consecutive College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week award, as announced by the league office on Tuesday, October 21. This marks her fifth weekly honor of the season and the sixth of her collegiate career.

She is the first women's cross country runner in the CCIW to win the award four straight weeks since its inception in 2009. Additionally, she is the first to receive the honor five times in a single season since Amanda Laesch of North Central College accomplished this in 2010.

Her most recent recognition follows a strong performance at the Nuttycombe Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin on Friday, October 17. She finished in 21st place with a time of 21:51.8, surpassing nearly 60 NCAA Division I runners. Although she missed the top-20 by three seconds, this was her third-best 6k time of the season. She moved up from 33rd place at the 2k mark to her final position by the end of the race.

The next competition for her and the Illinois Wesleyan Titans will be the CCIW Championship, scheduled for Saturday, November 1 at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois.

According to the CCIW, she was named Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week on September 3, September 16, September 23, October 7, and October 21 this season. Molly Roberts of Elmhurst received the honor on September 9.
