On Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, the Town of Normal will collect only household waste and recycling. Other services such as bulk waste, landscape waste, and brush collection scheduled for Tuesday routes will be postponed to the following week on their regular day. Waste collection for Wednesday routes will proceed as usual.
Residents are asked to place their items curbside by 6 a.m. to ensure timely pickup.
Town offices, including the Electronics Recycling Facility, will be closed on Tuesday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. Operations will resume on Wednesday, November 12.
The Town notes that all its facilities are accessible. Residents who need assistance or accommodations for accessing town programs or services can contact ADA Coordinator Mark Clinch by email or phone at 309-454-9580.
