Calvin Coleman, a 46-year-old small business owner, is running for Illinois’ 2nd Congressional District as a candidate of the Independence Party, an Illinois political party formed from the remnants of U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s presidential campaign and connected to the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement.
