Report: Rooks Creek spent $15,706 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Rooks Creek Community Consolidated School District 425 is up 12 percent from five years ago, according to a McLean County Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Livingston County school district spent $14,062 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $15,706 in 2016-17.

The district's enrollment remained unchanged over the same period, with 45 students.

Rooks Creek's spending in 2016-17 was 21 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
