Report: Dwight spent $15,846 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Dwight Township High School District 230 is up 9 percent from five years ago, according to a McLean County Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Livingston County school district spent $14,490 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $15,846 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 290 to 260.

Dwight's spending in 2016-17 was 22 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
