Randolph Township Fire Protection District responded to 39 calls in 2017 - 5.4 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Randolph included 27 fires - 15 structure fires, three vehicle fires and nine other fires.

In all, the department saw $19,050 in fire loss - or about $706 per fire.

The department also received 12 false calls.
