Lexington Illinois Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on April 1.
Lexington Community School District #7 will hold its annual Developmental Screening for children ages 3-5 on April 15th & 16th at the Lexington Community Center. We encourage all children ages 3-5 to attend!
Developmental screenings are a learning check-up that focuses on assessing each child’s development of concepts, communication skills and their fine and gross motor skills. Each child will also undergo a free vision and hearing screening during this time. All children attending will receive a book to take home courtesy of the Lexington Kiwanis Club.
For any family who has interest in applying for their child to possibly attend the Lexington Preschool Program, this screening must be completed. In order to sign your students up for this screening, please call the Lexington Elementary Office at 309-365-2741, from 9:00am-3:00pm Monday -Friday to schedule an appointment!
