Lexington Illinois Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on May 31.
Experience Christmas on the Prairie in Lexington, December 7th, 2019 beginning at 9am and going until 8pm. The event starts out at the Lexington School with our vendor fair which also includes Breakfast with Santa, a children’s shopping area and fresh Christmas tree & wreath sale. Enjoy a visit with Santa's Reindeer and following the activities at the school, continue to Main St. in beautiful downtown Lexington to shop our local businesses and grab a bite to eat at one of the many local restaurants. The afternoon continues with free hot chocolate, fine art display & sale, Lexington Chamber of Commerce’s Festival of Trees, professional Christmas pictures, Christmas at the Castle, Main St. & City Park tree lighting ceremony, evening carriage rides down Main St., live Christmas music, wine & cheese pairing event & many more activities still being planned.
