McLean County Executive Committee met March 11.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

The Executive Committee of the McLean County Board met at 5:00 p.m. in Room 400 of the Government Center, 115 E. Washington Street, Bloomington, Illinois.

Members Present: Chairman McIntyre, Members Jim Soeldner, George Gordon, William Caisley, Susan Schafer, Chuck Erickson, Laurie Wollrab, and Josh Barnett 

Members Absent: Member Catherine Metsker

Other Members Present: None

Staff Present: Ms. Camille Rodriguez, County Administrator; Ms. Cassy Taylor, Assistant County Administrator, Jessica Woods, First Assistant State’s Attorney – Civil Division and Julie Morlock Recording Secretary

Department Heads Elected Officials Present: Ms. Kathy Michael

Chairman McIntyre called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. declared a quorum and stated there were no minutes to approve.

Chairman McIntyre presented for action a request to approve a change of polling place from the McLean County Nursing Home at 901 N. Main Street, Normal, IL. Ms. Rodriguez indicated to protect and promote the health of residents of the nursing home and the public Staff recommends moving our polling place. She indicated the County Clerk needs to mail new notices out tomorrow so needed to call the emergency meeting. Mr. Soeldner asked how many voters this would affect. Ms. Michael indicated about 2,000.

Motion by Soeldner/Wollrab to recommend approval of change of polling place from the McLean County Nursing Home at 901 N. Main Street, Normal, IL

Motion Carried.

Chairman McIntyre presented for action a request to approve change of polling place from Evergreen Place at 801 Gregory Street, Normal, IL. Mr. McIntyre indicate same reasoning for this action.

Motion by Schafer/Gordon to recommend approval a change of polling place from Evergreen Place at 801 Gregory Street, Normal, IL

Motion Carried.

Chairman McIntyre indicated there were no bills to pay and asked if there was anything else to come before the Committee; hearing nothing he adjourned the meeting at 5:05 p.m.
