Minutes Of A Public Hearing Conducted In The Council Chambers, Normal City Hall, Fourth Floor Uptown Station, 11 Uptown Circle, Normal, Mclean County, Illinois – Monday, February 6, 2023 – The Annexation Agreement Regarding The Property At The Northwest Corner Of Parkside Road And West Hovey (Infiniti Pointe Subdivision)
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Koos called the Public Hearing to order at 6:56 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2023.
2. ROLL CALL:
The Clerk called the roll with the following persons
PRESENT: Mayor Chris Koos and Councilmembers, Kevin McCarthy, Scott Preston, Chemberly Harris, Stan Nord, Karyn Smith and Kathleen Lorenz, also present were City Manager Pamela Reece, Assistant City Manager Eric Hanson, Deputy Corporation Counsel Jason Querciagrossa, and Chief Deputy Clerk Tierra Shickel.
ABSENT: Corporation Counsel Brian Day and Town Clerk Angie Huonker.
3. CERTIFICATE OF PUBLICATION:
There is on file in the office of the Town Clerk a Certificate of Publication from The Normalite dated January 19, 2023.
4. PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING:
Mayor Koos announced the purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive comments from the public on the proposed Annexation Agreement Regarding the Property at the Northwest Corner of Parkside Road and West Hovey (Infiniti Pointe Subdivision).
Mayor Koos called for comments from the public.
Mayor Koos issued the second call for comments from the public.
Mayor Koos issued the third and final call for comments from the public.
5. ADJOURNMENT:
There being no public comment to come before the Council, Mayor Koos called for a Motion to Adjourn the Public Hearing.
MOTION:
Councilmember McCarthy moved, seconded by Councilmember Harris, the Public Hearing be adjourned.
AYES: Lorenz, Nord, Smith, Harris, Preston, McCarthy, Koos.
NAYS: None.
Motion declared carried.
Mayor Koos adjourned the Public Hearing on the Annexation Agreement Regarding the Property at the Northwest Corner of Parkside Road and West Hovey (Infiniti Pointe Subdivision). at 6:58 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2023.
