Six Illinois State women's golfers have been named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar list. The athletes honored are Michaela Kverkova, Dani Grace Schrock, Jinyoung Yun, Ali Schrock, Vinisha Gunaseelan, and Avalon Woodward.

To qualify for this recognition, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur on the team roster through the end of the season, and have participated in at least half of the college's regular competitive rounds during the year.

Kverkova competed in seven tournaments with 20 total rounds and averaged 77.7 strokes per round. Her best performance was at the MVC Championship where she tied for 23rd place.

Dani Grace Schrock played in eight tournaments totaling 24 rounds and averaged 77.6 strokes per round. She achieved one top-10 finish at the Coyote Creek Classic in October.

Yun, named the 2024 MVC Golfer of the Year, also earned All-MVC honors and a spot on the MVC All-Tournament Team after her third-place finish at the MVC Championship. She set a program record with a season scoring average of 72.563 and recorded 14 rounds at or under par this season.

Ali Schrock was named the 2023-24 MVC Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second time in her career. She has received numerous accolades including CSC Academic All-America honors in both 2022 and 2023 and multiple All-MVC recognitions.

Gunaseelan participated in all 11 tournaments during the season, averaging 76.2 strokes per round. Her best result was a fourth-place finish at the Coyote Creek Classic.

Woodward maintained a GPA of 3.97 in marketing and has been named to both Academic All-District teams twice and to WGCA's All-America Scholar list three times. Her season scoring average is tied for seventh lowest in Illinois State program history.
