AUSTIN, Texas – Recent Illinois State graduate Ali Schrock has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America First Team as of July 16, 2024. This marks her third consecutive CSC/CoSIDA Academic All-America honor, having previously been named to the third team in 2022 and second team in 2023.

Schrock becomes the fourth Redbird in school history to earn three Academic All-America honors. She joins former men's basketball standout Doug Collins and cross country/track & field athletes Stacia Beste and J.D. Lafayette on this list. Additionally, she is the first from the women's golf program to receive First Team Academic All-America honors and the 23rd student-athlete from Illinois State overall.

Schrock is notable for being the only student-athlete in the NCAA Division I At-Large field to earn a third Academic All-America honor this season. She is also distinguished as the lone MVC student-athlete on any of the three At-Large teams this year and one of two women's golfers on the first-team list.

In addition to her recent accolade, Schrock was named MVC Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year for both 2023-24 and 2021-22 seasons. She is one of two golfers in conference history to receive this title multiple times. Earlier this season, she became just the third golfer in MVC history to earn two or more MVC Elite 17 honors, joining former Redbird Katie Jean. Furthermore, she is among four golfers in program history recognized as an MVC Scholar-Athlete three times during their career.

Schrock concluded her final season of eligibility in 2024 with several accomplishments including being named MVC Golfer of the Year in 2022. She earned All-MVC honors for three consecutive years (2022-2024) and was part of the MVC All-Tournament Team twice (2022 and 2024). In her last season, she tied for first place individually at the 2024 MVC Championship with a scoring average of 73.906—the second-lowest season scoring average in program history—and had two first-place finishes along with five top-10 finishes.

Her performance included ten rounds at or under par, marking her career scoring average at Illinois State as one of the lowest historically.
