Illinois State volleyball has received the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 16th consecutive year, as announced by the organization on Wednesday. The team is among 15 Division I schools with an active streak of 15 or more years.
The award recognizes programs that achieve a GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 grading scale during the academic year.
Illinois State will commence its 2024 season at home on August 30 against Central Michigan in the Linda Herman Volleyball Classic at CEFCU Arena. A Red-White scrimmage is scheduled for August 15 at CEFCU Arena.
