Illinois State Football will continue its presence in the Chicago media market through a new three-game agreement between Redbird Sports Properties and Marquee Sports Network to broadcast ISU home games during the 2024 season. All six home contests will also be simulcast live on ESPN+ as part of the Missouri Valley Football Conference's broadcast agreement.
Kurt Pegler, the longtime television voice of Redbird football, will serve as the play-by-play announcer for all six home games. He will be joined by former FCS All-American and NFL veteran Clay Harbor as the analyst.
The broadcasts will include the team's home opener against Western Illinois on September 14 at noon, its annual Mid-America Classic contest against Eastern Illinois on September 21 at 6 p.m., and the November 2 matchup against Youngstown State at noon. The regular-season finale against North Dakota on November 23 at noon will be carried exclusively on ESPN+ as part of the Missouri Valley Football Conference's network package.
Marquee Sports Network is known for being the exclusive local television home of the Chicago Cubs and a broadcast partner of other teams such as the NFL's Chicago Bears, WNBA's Chicago Sky, and NWSL's Chicago Red Stars. It provides live coverage of various sports events along with extensive pregame and postgame coverage. More information can be found at MarqueeSportsNetwork.com/Providers.
