The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team has been recognized as a United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award honoree for the 2023-24 academic year. This announcement was made by the organization on Thursday, August 1.
To qualify for this award, teams must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Illinois Wesleyan Green and White achieved a GPA of 3.38, placing them among 237 women's programs across all divisions to receive this honor.
The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin saw representation from both Illinois Wesleyan and Wheaton College in the women's category. Additionally, the men's team at Illinois Wesleyan also received the Team Academic Award, making it one of only 102 schools to have both its men's and women's programs recognized for their academic achievements.
