Illinois Wesleyan University has added three new names to its list of College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America honorees. Seniors Annalese Chudy and Lauren Huber, along with junior Adriana Crabtree, were recognized for their achievements in the 2024-25 Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-America teams. This marks a record for the university, which now boasts the most honorees in a single year.
Annalese Chudy advanced from third team honors last season to second team this year. "She becomes the first repeat selection since now head women's track & field coach Amelia Marino (nee Glueck) captured first team status in 2017 and 2018," according to the release.
Lauren Huber and Adriana Crabtree are new additions to the list, with Huber being named to the third team. The release states that Huber "was voted CSC First Team Academic All-America in women's basketball" and is "the first female in school history to garner CSC Academic All-America honors in multiple sports."
Illinois Wesleyan's all-time tally of Academic All-America awards has reached 175, placing it among the top-25 across NCAA Division I, II, and III institutions and within the top-10 for Division III schools. Fifteen Titans have earned this distinction during the current academic year alone, surpassing last year's total of ten.
Chudy's recognition follows a year of notable performances, including five All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin nods. She achieved all-conference status at the league cross country championship and ranked fourth regionally on the outdoor track list for the 10k event.
Crabtree joins her father Bryan Crabtree as an award recipient and was a national qualifier in both cross country and track. Her achievements include a First Team All-American finish at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
Huber concluded her career as an All-American in heptathlon events. Recently named CCIW Woman of the Year, she ranks inside Illinois Wesleyan’s program's top-10 for five events.
The three students join other Titans who have been recognized this academic year across various sports disciplines.
