Illinois State golfers Valentin Peugnet and Alex McCulla are set to compete in the NCAA West Lafayette Regional, starting Monday. They aim to secure the single individual spot available for the NCAA Championship.
The event will be held at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex - Kampen Course from May 13 to May 15. The course is a par 72 with a yardage of 7,461. Live scoring for the tournament will be available on Golfstat.
Peugnet and McCulla have their tee times scheduled for Monday morning. McCulla will start at 9:01 a.m. CT alongside Ty Gingerich from Cincinnati and Sean Anderson from Tennessee Tech. Peugnet is set to tee off at 9:12 a.m. CT with Owen Stamper from Middle Tennessee and Jackson Skeem from Tennessee Tech.
Illinois State has consistently participated in the NCAA Regionals over recent years, marking this as their sixth appearance in seven seasons either as individuals or as a team. Notably, Trent Wallace secured seventh place individually at this regional previously, earning him entry into the NCAA Championship.
