The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has recognized Illinois State as a Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2024 semester. This honor is based on the academic achievements of student-athletes, with a total of 17,162 athletes represented.

To earn this distinction, teams needed to achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 during the Spring 2024 semester. Among those recognized, 563 teams achieved a GPA of 3.30 or higher.

Illinois State University's swimming and diving program set a new record with a semester GPA of 3.81, leading all women's programs at the university. The team had 25 members on the honor roll, with 15 achieving perfect GPAs of 4.0.

"This recognition honors programs that achieve high standards in the classroom," said CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany. "The coaches and the entire team have demonstrated a commitment to success both academically and athletically, setting a standard of excellence that we can all be proud of."
