The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced the recipients of the Academic All-Conference honors for the 2023 fall season. A total of 95 student-athletes from Illinois Wesleyan University have been recognized on the Dave Wrath Academic All-CCIW team. Senior men's soccer player Brody Seaton and senior women's golfer Emma Thorman were named IWU's Jack Swartz Award winners.

The CCIW Academic All-Conference list includes individuals who achieved an overall grade-point average of 3.30 or above and have completed at least one year in residency at their respective school.

In addition, the CCIW revealed all recipients of the Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference award. Each member institution selects two student-athletes, one male and one female, from each sport season to be honored as Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference members. Eligibility requires an overall grade point average of 3.50 or above and at least one year in residency.

Seaton was a captain for the Titans this past season, starting 16 games, scoring three goals, and finishing with six points. He played a key role in guiding the Titans to their first-ever CCIW Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament berth in 2023. In the tournament semifinals against North Park, Seaton scored an overtime goal and made his penalty kick attempt to send IWU to the title game where he netted the game-winner in the 88th minute.

Thorman had an outstanding senior season, participating in five tournaments with four top-10 finishes and two top-three placements. She won the CCIW Championship with a career-best 54-hole total of 218 (74-74-70), helping lead Illinois Wesleyan to a record-breaking conference title. Additionally, she was named conference golfer of the week for the fourth time in her career, contributing to IWU's top-15 national ranking.
