The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team is set to host the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in a non-conference match on Wednesday, October 11. The game will take place at Neis Field with a scheduled start time of 6 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan's current record stands at 1-11-1 overall and 0-4-1 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). In their most recent match, they faced Carroll University on October 7, where they were defeated 1-0. Junior Madalyn Buxton was in goal for the Titans during this match, making four saves. She also made five saves in an earlier game against Augustana College on October 4.

Buxton previously scored a goal for the Titans in their 2-1 loss to Wheaton College on September 30. Other players who have scored for Illinois Wesleyan this season include juniors Tegan Timerman and Amanda Yaeger, as well as freshmen Sophie Lampert and Ava Mapes. Mapes leads the team's scoring efforts with two goals.

In historical matches between these two teams since 2001, Illinois Wesleyan holds a slight advantage with six wins compared to UW-Whitewater's four victories and one draw. Their last meeting took place exactly one year ago when UW-Whitewater secured a win with a late goal by Allie Prigge in the 86th minute. Prigge is currently the second-highest scorer for UW-Whitewater this season with four goals, following Gianna Zamborini who has five.
