After a setback against North Park University, the Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team is preparing for a midweek match against Augustana College. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16, at 7 p.m. and will take place at Neis Field.

The Titans currently hold an 8-1-2 record this season and are 2-1 in league play. Their recent encounter with North Park University ended in a 2-0 defeat, marking the first time this season that the Titans failed to score.

Junior goalkeeper Sam Kedzior from Cary, Illinois, has been notable with 12 saves over the past week and maintains a save percentage of .857. He ranks second in the conference for shutouts and saves. Senior Devyn Kennedy from Earlville leads the CCIW in assists with five, while sophomore Ryder Coleman from Deerfield is third in goals scored with seven.

Augustana College enters the match with a record of 4-4-1 overall and 1-3 in conference play after losing to Wheaton on Saturday.

The upcoming game will also feature support from Illinois Wesleyan's Athlete Ally chapter to promote inclusion within sports for the LGBTQ+ community.
