The Illinois Wesleyan University men's soccer team managed to secure a draw against Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The match on Saturday, September 28, ended with both teams scoring one goal each. This result keeps Illinois Wesleyan's unbeaten streak intact with a record of 6-0-2, while Wabash now stands at 7-2-1.

Wabash College scored the first goal within the initial 12 minutes of the game. The remainder of the first half saw no further goals from either side.

In the second half, Illinois Wesleyan's freshman Elsworth McIntosh from Lake In The Hills, Illinois tied the game in the 76th minute. Senior Justin Bruso from Bloomington, Illinois assisted by putting the ball into play for a Wabash defender to head it towards McIntosh. McIntosh then executed a right-footed kick to score.

Junior Sam Kedzior from Cary, Illinois played as goalkeeper for the full match duration and recorded five saves while allowing one goal.

Illinois Wesleyan will take a week-long break before facing Carthage College on October 5 at Neis Field for Homecoming. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
