The Illinois Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team is set to play its final regular season game against Carroll University. This follows a significant victory on Senior Day, which secured at least a share of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Regular Season Championship title for IWU. The upcoming match will take place at Schneider Stadium in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with the game starting at 3 p.m.

Last weekend, the Titans emerged victorious over Elmhurst University with a score of 15-13, maintaining their undefeated status in the league. Elmhurst and North Central College are currently tied for second place in the standings, each holding a 3-1 CCIW record.

In their recent game against Elmhurst, four IWU players achieved hat tricks: seniors Gage Black and Trystan Seeley, junior Sam Weinberg, and freshman Jake Kahoun. Sophomore Noah Dretzka contributed two goals while junior Sam Skelton added one goal and led defensively with four turnovers. Junior Colin Tervo made nine saves as goalkeeper.

Gage Black leads IWU this season with 55 points and 38 goals. Trystan Seeley and freshman Timothy McHugh are tied for second in points with 39 each. McHugh also leads the team in assists and ranks prominently within Division III for assists per game.

IWU holds a strong record this season with 10 wins out of 13 games overall and remains unbeaten in conference play at 4-0. They face Carroll University, who is seeking their first conference win of the season.
