The Illinois Wesleyan University women's bowling team is set to compete in the Columbia 300 Saints Invite this weekend. The tournament will take place from January 27 to January 29 in Valley Park, Missouri, and is hosted by Maryville University.
This follows the team's recent participation in the Peacock Classic held from January 20 to January 22 at Upper Iowa University. During that event, the Titans finished ninth. Among their competitors were Elmhurst University, which secured eighth place, and Augustana College, which achieved the highest finish among College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) schools by placing sixth. Carroll University came in seventh.
Freshman Kiera Henderson from Silvis, Illinois, led her team with a personal-best total pinfall of 807 over five games, earning her a 20th place finish out of 60 bowlers.
Results from the Columbia 300 Saints Invite will be available on iwusports.com after the tournament concludes.
