The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team is set to host Monmouth College for a non-conference match on Tuesday, October 8. The event will take place at the Evergreen Racquet Club in Bloomington, Illinois, starting at 4 p.m.

The Titans are looking to recover from recent losses against Carthage College and Carroll University over the weekend of October 5-6. During these matches, sophomore Olivia Bell achieved two victories at No. 4 singles. She also partnered with fellow sophomore Amber Ehrlich to secure a win at No. 1 doubles against Carthage College.

Illinois Wesleyan has faced Monmouth only three times before, holding a series lead of 2-1 since their first encounter in 2007. In their last meeting on October 3, 2023, IWU narrowly defeated Monmouth with a score of 5-4. In that match, Ehrlich and Bell triumphed in No. 1 doubles with an 8-3 victory. Carly Edwards and Andie Wilson also contributed by winning at No. 3 doubles with an impressive score of 8-1.

Monmouth comes into this matchup after suffering a defeat to Lake Forest College on October 5.
