Illinois State University's women's tennis team achieved a doubleheader victory against Western Illinois and the University of Illinois Springfield. The Redbirds secured wins with scores of 4-3 and 6-1, respectively, in matches held in Bloomington, Illinois.
The team demonstrated strong performances across both singles and doubles matches. Against Western Illinois, Illinois State claimed victories in four singles matches and one doubles match. In the subsequent match against the University of Illinois Springfield, they won five singles matches and two doubles contests.
Looking ahead, Illinois State will travel to Milwaukee to compete against Marquette University on Saturday. Following this, they will return home to host Chicago State at Evergreen Racquet Club on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
