Illinois Wesleyan women's golf team begins spring season in Arizona

The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team is set to commence its spring season this weekend at the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Arizona. The tournament, taking place on March 8-9, will be held at the Westbrook Village Golf Club's Lakes Course, which features a par-71 and spans 5,810 yards.

The team lineup includes seniors Macy Ludwig from Effingham and Jadyn Spinks from Bloomington, freshman Gigi Zera from Glenview, and sophomores Nora Cerroni from Waukesha and Emily Gastrau from Wauwatosa. Competing as individuals are seniors Jacque O'Neill from Harbor Springs and Kylie Hundmann from Bloomington, along with freshman Grace Fagan from Kirkwood.

Illinois Wesleyan will compete against nine other teams: George Fox, Redlands, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Emory, Centre, Washington & Lee, Christopher Newport, Trinity (Texas), and UC Santa Cruz.

Tee times for the tournament are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Live scoring will be accessible through Clippd.
