The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team is set to play against Loras College for Senior Day on Saturday, March 29. The Titans improved their record to 8-9 following a victory against Earlham College on March 14. The match at Evergreen Racquet Club is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., preceded by Senior Day celebrations at 12:45 p.m.

Seniors Kate Christian and Andie Wilson will be honored during the event. Both players have earned letters for the Titans twice and have been named CSC Academic All-District. In addition, Christian has received the CCIW RESPECT award in both 2023 and 2024.

The team's recent win over Earlham College, which marked the highest number of season wins since the 2012-13 campaign, featured significant performances in doubles. Sophomores Amber Ehrlich and Olivia Bell secured victory in the No. 1 doubles match, while Gabi Lipske and Katie Van Heuklon earned a one-point decision in the No. 2 doubles spot. The No. 3 doubles was swept by Wilson and junior Marianna Arias.

This upcoming match will be the first encounter between IWU and Loras College in the history of their programs. Loras enters the competition after achieving a 7-0 win against the University of Northwestern (Minn.). Match results will be accessible on iwusports.com after the competition.
