The Illinois Wesleyan University men’s golf team is set for a competitive outing as they travel to Cordova, Tennessee, for the Cochran Collegiate tournament hosted by Rhodes College. This prominent event is scheduled for April 14-15 and features the Titans, who are ranked fourth.

A total of 18 teams are participating in this 54-hole competition, which will be held at the Colonial Country Club. The tournament format includes playing 36 holes on Monday, followed by 18 holes on Tuesday. Teams joining Illinois Wesleyan include Piedmont, Oglethorpe (ranked ninth), Mary Hardin-Baylor, Hampden-Sydney (ranked seventeenth), Greensboro, Rose-Hulman, Babson (ranked twentieth), Rhodes, Christopher Newport, Berry (ranked twenty-first), Millikin, Gustavus Adolphus, Webster, Lynchburg (ranked tenth), Centre, LeTourneau (ranked seventh), and Wabash.

Illinois Wesleyan's team lineup includes seniors Griffin Pohl from Western Springs, Illinois, and Quinn Clifford from Chicago, Illinois, juniors Juney Bai from Mokena, Illinois, and Michael Spitzer from Hinsdale, Illinois, and freshman Pablo Castro from Palatine, Illinois.

The tournament will commence on Monday, April 14, with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Golf enthusiasts can follow the progress of their teams through live scoring provided by the Scoreboard powered by Clippd.
