Illinois State to face Drake in MVC women's tennis quarterfinals

Illinois State University's women's tennis team, with a record of 13 wins and 7 losses, has been seeded third for the Missouri Valley Conference Championships. Their conference record stands at 6 wins and 2 losses. The team will compete against the sixth-seeded Drake Bulldogs, who have a 5-15 overall record and a 2-6 conference record. This matchup was announced by the league office on March 20.

The competition will take place at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. The championships are scheduled to start on April 25 and will conclude on April 27.

In the quarterfinals, Illinois State is set to play against Drake on April 25 at 2:00 p.m. Before their match, the quarterfinal will feature a game between the No. 4 seed Belmont and No. 5 seed UNI, starting at 10:00 a.m. on the same day.
