Illinois State Athletics, in collaboration with PNC Bank, has recognized six student-athletes for their exceptional academic and athletic achievements in the 2024-2025 academic year. The 2024-2025 PNC Achievers announced are Jay Mack (Gymnastics), Wenkers Wright (Football), Abby Horton (Softball), Jinyoung Yun (Women's Golf), Elena Jankulovska (Women's Tennis), and Boden Skunberg (Men's Basketball).

"The recognition is about celebrating students who excel in the classroom, embrace leadership, and care about the world around them. We congratulate the PNC Achievers on their achievements and look forward to their continued leadership as they continue their journeys," stated Brian Ray, PNC regional president for central Illinois.

These student-athletes received their recognition during Illinois State University's 2024 home football games, where short videos about each student were presented. In addition, long-form videos featuring these student-athletes were shared across ISU's social media platforms.

The PNC Achievers program, which began in 2014, acknowledges standout students from a range of schools and universities in the United States. Honorees are chosen by local panels based on criteria that include academic performance, community service, and leadership skills. For further details about PNC, visit www.pnc.com.
