The Illinois State women's golf team is set to compete in the NCAA Columbus Regional from May 5-7, 2025, at the Ohio State University Golf Course's Scarlet Course. This marks their second consecutive regional appearance following a strong performance that secured the MVC title on April 15.

The Columbus Regional includes prominent teams such as Arkansas, LSU, and Ohio State, with Illinois State ranked 77th nationally. The lineup for Illinois State features Jessica Jolly, Lory Paradis, Elise Fennell, Morgan Jones, and Jinyoung Yun, starting their rounds on the 10th hole alongside Xavier and Oakland on the first day.

This event represents the 10th NCAA Regional appearance for Illinois State, with their best finish recorded as ninth place during the 2004 season. In recent years, the team finished last out of 12 in both the 2023 East Lansing and 2022 Stillwater Regionals.

The Scarlet Course, renovated in 2005 and 2006 by Jack Nicklaus, maintains its historic significance, having hosted several major women's golfing events, including the first-ever women's collegiate championship in 1941 and the 50th anniversary of the NCAA Women's Championship in 1991.
