The Illinois State baseball team is preparing to face Northern Illinois in a game scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CT on Tuesday. This match comes after Illinois State's recent series loss to Missouri State.
Northern Illinois, known as the Huskies, currently holds an 18-29 record this season and a 7-17 record in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). At home, they have achieved a 4-10 standing in 2025. Recently, the Huskies have shown some strength by winning three out of their last five games, including road victories against Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan.
