Illinois State honors over 100 student-athlete graduates this spring

Over 100 current and former student-athletes from Illinois State University are set to receive their degrees in May or August, having completed their studies during the Spring 2025 semester. Each graduate will be recognized with a special stole identifying them as Redbird student-athletes. They will have the chance to participate in one of five commencement ceremonies scheduled for Friday and Saturday at CEFCU Arena.

Graduates span across various sports disciplines, including men's and women's basketball, baseball, cross country/track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, swimming & diving, soccer, and softball. Notable graduates from men's basketball include Dalton Banks and Jordan Davis; from women's basketball are Addison Martin and Maya Wong. In baseball, Daniel Contreras and Kyle Gibson are among those graduating.

In track & field events, Corrina Courser represents the women's team while Ariel Atias is noted among the men. Football graduates include Jake Anderson and Zion Granville. The golf teams see Alex McCulla from men's golf graduating alongside Allison Schrock from women's golf.

Gymnastics features Julia Heiner as a graduate while swimming & diving sees Emma Feltzer earning her degree. Soccer graduates include Ellie Arnold and Rebekah Nielsen. From softball, Madi Bylak is listed among the graduates.

The ceremony celebrates these athletes' academic achievements along with their athletic contributions to Illinois State University.
