The Illinois Wesleyan University women's tennis team is set to continue its fall season at home, facing Illinois College at Evergreen Racquet Club on Monday, September 8. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

In their first match of the season, Illinois Wesleyan secured a win over Lawrence. Freshman Adia Douglas earned a straight-set victory at five singles, while fellow freshman Elana Religioso also won her match in straight sets at six singles. Junior Olivia Bell overcame her opponent in three sets at No. 4 singles, and sophomore Gabi Lipske clinched the overall win with a three-set result on the second singles court.

Last season, Illinois Wesleyan defeated Illinois College 5-2. During that meeting, Amber Ehrlich and Olivia Bell won at one doubles, while Kate Christian and Gabi Lipske secured a victory at No. 2 doubles. All four players—Ehrlich, Bell, Lipske, and Christian—also contributed singles wins.

Illinois College began its current season with a narrow loss to Wartburg but has since achieved wins against Webster and Millikin before falling to Greenville and then defeating Westminster.

Match results will be available after completion on the official athletics website iwusports.com.
