The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) released its annual preseason poll on October 23, ranking the Illinois Wesleyan University men's basketball team second for the upcoming 2025-26 season. The Titans, who are the reigning CCIW Tournament Champions, received 57 points and one first-place vote.
Carthage secured the top spot in the poll with 64 points and all eight available first-place votes. Elmhurst was ranked third with 41 points. Wheaton came in fourth with 37 points, followed by North Park (35), Augustana (33), North Central (31), Millikin (16), and Carroll (10).
Illinois Wesleyan will begin its season hosting the Sikma Hall of Fame Invitational at the Shirk Center on November 14-15. The Titans are scheduled to play Illinois College at 7 p.m. on November 14 for their season opener. The tournament also features games between University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Maryville College (Tenn.), with winners advancing to the title game on November 15 after a consolation final.
