Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Hairmasters Institute of Cosmetology

Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at Hairmasters Institute of Cosmetology, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $14,250 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 55 students received grants or scholarships totaling $190,000 and 52 students took out student loans totaling more than $285,000.

Including all undergraduates, 108 students used grants or scholarships totaling $637,200. Another 108 took out $540,000 in federal student loans.
