General admission is $20. Student tickets available for $6 (Age 6-21) with valid Student ID. Senior discounts and group discounts are also available. Tickets prices do not include auditorium processing and/or ticketing fees.

Alon Goldstein is one of the most original and sensitive artists of his generation, admired for his musical intelligence and dynamic personality. Alon’s artistic vision and innovative programming have made him a favorite with audiences and critics alike throughout the United States, Europe, and Israel. He made his orchestral debut at the age of 18 with the Israel Philharmonic under the baton of Zubin Mehta and returned a few seasons ago with Maestro Herbert Blomstedt in Beethoven Concerto No. 1. In recent seasons, Mr. Goldstein has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, the San Francisco, Baltimore, St. Louis, Houston, Vancouver, Kansas City, Indianapolis, and North Carolina Symphonies; and orchestras on tour in Paris, Russia, Romania and Bulgaria. Amy Gilreath has won the respect and praise of musicians and audiences the world over. As a founding member of Stiletto Brass and as a much sought after soloist, she has been invited to perform in Cuba, Mexico, Russia, England and given multiple performances throughout Europe. She has also performed with many other renowned musicians including Doc Severinsen, former band leader of the Tonight Show Band with Johnny Carson and Italian jazz artist Andrea Tofanelli. As a long-standing faculty member of Orvieto Musica and current Director of the Festival’s Trumpet Fest, Amy has taught and performed with many trumpet players from the US. In 2010 a dream of hers became reality when she became the first woman soloist at the International Romantic Trumpet Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia. While in Russia, she also presented a recital and masterclass at the famed Moscow Conservatory. Amy can be heard on her solo CD “Enjoying Life” and on various Sinfonia da Camera recordings released by Albany Records.
Having served as Principal Trumpet of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra since 1999, Amy also holds the Principal Trumpet position with Sinfonia da Camera in Champaign Illinois. In addition, she has also performed as an extra and a sub with the St. Louis Symphony.
The Illinois Symphony Orchestra (ISO), led by acclaimed Music Director Ken Lam, is central Illinois’ largest professional orchestra serving over 30,000 community members with a budget of approximately $1.3 million. The ISO celebrates its 26th season of exciting performances with concerts in both Springfield and Bloomington/Normal including symphony orchestra, chamber orchestra, pops concerts and Concerts for Kids.
The ISO’s commitment to the community is highlighted through its award-winning Music Matters! in-school programs for students in Kindergarten – 6th grade; engaging Concerts for Kids, a favorite of students teachers and parents; and the Around the Town Free Chamber Music Series. The ISO, founded in 1993, is the consolidation of two well-established organizations: the Springfield Symphony and the Bloomington Normal Symphony. The ISO has won numerous awards including the Illinois Council of Orchestras' awards for Meritorious Service in Outstanding Programming, Community Service, and Community Event of the Year, all in recognition of its service and commitment to the citizens of Illinois. The ISO has performed at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall during the tenure of Conductor Laureate Kenneth Kiesler and has made appearances at the Ravinia Festival, Millennium Park in Chicago and the Illinois State Fair.
