McLean County Property Committee met May 2.

The Property Committee of the McLean County Board met beginning at 4:45 p.m. at the Government Center Building, 115 E. Washington Street, Bloomington, IL 61701.
Members Present: Chairman Scott Murphy, Members: Jacob Beard, Lyndsay Bloomfield, Elizabeth Johnston, Logan Smith and Gerald Thompson (remotely)
Members Absent: Member Josh Barnett

Present: None
Staff Present: William Wasson, County Administrator, Jessica Woods, First Assistant State’s Attorney – Civil Division; Eric Schmitt, Administrative Services Director; and Ms. Julie Morlock, Recording Secretary;
Department Heads/Elected Officials Present: Mr. Mike Steffa, Parks & Recreation

Chairman Murphy declared a quorum and called the meeting to order.
Chairman Murphy presented the minutes from the March 19, 2019 special meeting and April 4, 2019 regular of the Property Committee for approval.
Motion by Bloomfield/Beard to approve the March 19, 2019 special meeting and April 4, 2019 minutes of the Property Committee.
Motion carried.
Chairman Murphy confirmed there were no appearances by members of the public.
Mr. Wasson, County Administrator presented a request to approve an Emergency Appropriation Ordinance Amending the McLean County Fiscal Year 2019 Combined Annual Appropriation and Budget Ordinance for Facilities Department 0041 (Chiller Replacement). Mr. Schmitt indicated that parts had been ordered and they were working out logistics for crane to remove old chillers and place new chillers on the roof and disposal of old chillers.
Motion by Thompson/Johnston to recommend approval of an Emergency Appropriation Ordinance Amending the McLean County Fiscal Year 2019 Combined Annual Appropriation and Budget Ordinance for Facilities Department 0041 (Chiller Replacement).
Motion Carried.
Mr. Wasson stated there was no changes to employment in the last 30 days under the purview of the Property Committee.
Chairman Murphy indicated that this was Mr. Wasson’s last Property Committee meeting and thanked him for all of his assistance and wished him well. Mr. Wasson thanked him.
Chairman Murphy presented the bills from the Auditor in the amount of $133,853.87
Motion by Johnston/Bloomfield to approve payments of bills from the Auditor in the amount of $133,853.87.
Motion Carried
The Committee then proceeded on a tour of the 200 W. Front Street building.
Chairman Murphy asked if there was any other business to come before the Committee; hearing none, he adjourned the meeting at 5:47 p.m.
