City of Lexington issued the following announcement on Aug. 5.
Next Generation 9-1-1- Address change letters were mailed out last week to Lexington residents impacted by the State's new system. The letter indicates that there would be a 'change of address' form enclosed for McLean County. This form was not enclosed and is not needed. The County will be notifying the Assessor's Office, Building and Zoning, Utilities and the Postal Service on your behalf without the change of address form being submitted.
