City of Lexington issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
Lexington has teamed up with our friends from El Paso and Gidley to promote each communities' Christmas events. This first Christmas Across the Prairie is a perfect example of what small communities should represent, working together to bring people together.
Visit all three communities and enjoy our many events throughout the day, and don’t forget to pick up a punch card that shows you attended all three for a chance to win $100.00 cash. The festivities end in Lexington at our 5pm Tree Lighting Ceremony at the City Park where the drawing will take place. You need not be present to win, but why wouldn’t you want to top off a wonderful day with a fun filled evening by taking a Carriage Ride in festive downtown Lexington.
