City of Lexington issued the following announcement on May 15.
The Food Pantry Board would like to thank everyone who contributed assorted meats, non-perishable food, and/or monetary donations to the Lexington Food Pantry. During the current pandemic situation, your overwhelming donations will help us continue our mission to feed our neighbors. The donations from various sources (individuals, organizations, businesses, churches, etc.) have given us the ability to restock the shelves with needed non-perishable items. The Lexington Food Pantry is a valuable resource in our community and your donations will hopefully see us through till our next planned food drive in November.
