Hudson FPD responds to seven fires in 2018

Hudson Fire Protection Department responded to 12 calls in 2018 - 45.5 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Hudson included seven fires - one structure fire, two vehicle fires and four other fires.

In all, the department saw $400,000 in fire loss - or about $57,143 per fire.

The department also received five false calls.

The Hudson Fire Protection Department had an annual budget of $447,114 in 2018.
