Ellsworth Fire District responded to 16 calls in 2018 - 11.1 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Ellsworth included 12 fires - seven structure fires, one vehicle fire and four other fires.

In all, the department saw $30,200 in fire loss - or about $2,517 per fire.

The department also received four false calls.

The Ellsworth Fire District had an annual budget of $194,313 in 2018.
