Forrest-strawn-Wing Fire Protection District responded to 19 calls in 2018 - 5 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Forrest-strawn-Wing included 16 fires - four structure fires, two vehicle fires and 10 other fires.

In all, the department saw $2,000 in fire loss - or about $125 per fire.

The department also received three false calls.

The calls resulted in two civilian non-fire deaths.

The Forrest-strawn-Wing Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $229,723 in 2018.
