City of Lasalle issued the following announcement on Dec. 9.

I-80 between IL 251 in Peru & I-39 in La Salle will close in both directions at 7pm Thursday, Dec. 10th thru 5am on Friday, Dec. 11th.

Expect delays, allow extra time, and find alternate routes to avoid this area
