Rooks Creek Community Consolidated School District 425 Board of Education met Jan. 9.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education of Rooks Creek C.C.S.D. #425 held a regular board meeting on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the school. School Board President Kristen Hinz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call: Elizabeth Alvey, present; Scott Drilling, present, John Grampp, present; Kristen Hinz, present; Steve Mattingly, present; Abby Rinker, absent; Kassandra Ryerson, present.

Superintendent Todd Bean was also present.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey to approve the agenda. Voice vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded by Kristen Hinz to approve the amended minutes, adding guest present. Voice vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Kassandra Ryerson to approve the December Treasurer’s report. Roll call vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey to approve the January payment of bills. Roll call vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

New Business:

A motion was made by Kristen Hinz, seconded by Kassandra Ryerson to approve PRESS Issue 110 as presented. Voice vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Kassandra Ryerson, seconded by Kristen Hinz to approve field trips as presented. Voice vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded Kassandra Ryerson to adjourn at 7:19 p.m. Voice vote. All ayes. 1 absent. Motion carried.
